Inktober 2018 (part 1)

October is also Inktober, a month-long challenge to draw something with ink every day. I told myself I wasn’t going to take part in another challenge at the moment. This lasted 3 days into October when I suddenly realised I didn’t have to take part in a huge, all-encompassing, epic way. I could do something easy and fun. Hurrah!

As we are working in tiny journals for the Season of Ubuntu at Get Messy, I chose a tiny no-sew journal I made last year inspired by a tutorial with Sasha Zeen. It’s made from a single sheet of A4 paper. And it’s even tinier than the tiny journal I am already using this season: each page is approx 2 x 3 inches!

As I did with the 100 day project earlier this year, I began without having any plan as to what this project might be about. Before long, it turned into a sequential message with an Ubuntu theme.

Here are the first 16 days of the challenge:

Thanks for joining me on the Inktober challenge so far. Part 2 to follow soon!
