Grasses and trees sprout

This micro season is even more micro than usual. Only 4 days! Once again we are back in the kind of grey blustery weather that is more typical for February. I kinda like it!

I realised I was getting a bit bogged down in the idea that I had to identify everything I put in my nature journal. A couple of more knowledgeable friends informed me that last season’s blackthorn tree might not be a blackthorn after all! So I’ve decided to name things if it comes easily but not get too stressed if it doesn’t.

These two beautiful pinkies might be cherry trees. Then again they might not. But I love them anyway!
