During this past week I pretty much gave up trying to create separate poems in the double spreads. It was almost impossible not to get the words on each side of the page to talk to each other!
I started to play around with watercolour mediums outside my paint box, such as Ecoline and Tombow brush pens, Neocolor 2 crayons and Caran D’ache watercolour pencils. I also had fun using the non-watersoluble Neocolor 1 crayons as a resist (see the sun and moon poems below).
